Above My Ability?
As seems to be the case with most gliders kits this kit came with no real instructions, just a list of all the parts and a drawing of what the finished model should look like. A few steps were a little hard to figure out. On the plus side it is a very well made professional looking kit and all the parts fit well. The drawing shows that the wing is attached with a rubber band but didn't explain how, and the first 6 or 7 times I tried to launch the plane the wing fell off upon launch. Once I came up with a way that worked I discovered that the plane doesn't appear to be designed for hand-launching, as I couldn't get it to fly for more than a few seconds. This isn't a complaint about this particular model or the company that manufactured it, more of a comment on the whole industry. So far every kit I've gotten, no matter who the manufacturer is, seems to assume that you are already an expert on both building and flying.
